Terms of service
Effective 20 August 2026. Draft for an early product — not a substitute for counsel.
1. The deal
These terms cover use of hoversite (hoversite.ai) — the workbench, clone/edit agent, preview, heartbeat, and related APIs. By creating an account or using the product you agree to them.
The product is early. Features move, break, or get replaced. We will try not to surprise you, but this is not a finished SLA.
2. The service
hoversite lets you:
- Import a site from a URL you are allowed to copy.
- Review agent drafts (pages, copy, SEO, structure) before anything goes live.
- Edit, preview, and — when you choose — publish.
The agent proposes. You approve. We do not silently rewrite a live site without a publish path you start.
3. Your account
You must be old enough to contract (16+, or older if your country says so). Keep credentials to yourself. You are responsible for activity under your account.
Sign-in is handled by Clerk. Google sign-in is optional and uses Google’s terms as well as ours.
4. Your sites and content
- You represent that you may clone and edit the URL you submit — you own it, you have a license, or the law allows it.
- You keep whatever rights you already have in that site and in what you type into hoversite.
- You give us a license to host, process, and display that content only to run the product for you (clone, store, preview, agent, publish if you ask).
Do not upload or point us at material you have no right to copy, or at illegal, malware, or abusive content.
5. The agent
Drafts come from language models. They can be wrong, outdated, or off-brand. You review before publish. We do not warrant rankings, conversions, or legal/medical/financial advice. Do not treat the agent as a lawyer or an SEO guarantee.
6. Acceptable use
Do not use hoversite to:
- Attack, scrape, or impersonate others at scale.
- Clone a site you have no right to reproduce.
- Probe, overload, or reverse-engineer the service.
- Violate law, including privacy and IP law.
We can suspend accounts that break this.
7. Plans and payment
Public prices live on /pricing. If Stripe checkout is live, paid plans renew until you cancel. Fees already charged are not refunded except where the law requires it or we say otherwise in writing.
8. Availability
We aim to keep the workbench and worker up. Preview, clone, and publish depend on third-party hosts and on the site you imported. Outages, rate limits, and model failures will happen. The service is provided as is.
9. Liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, traffic, or rankings. Our total liability for a claim about the service is limited to the fees you paid us for hoversite in the 12 months before the claim (or zero if you are on a free preview).
10. Ending it
You can stop using the product and ask us to delete the account (jengacodelabs@gmail.com). We can suspend or close an account that violates these terms or that we cannot safely keep running. Surviving sections: your content representations, acceptable use, disclaimers, and liability.
11. Changes
We may update these terms as the product changes. The date at the top is current. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms. Related: Privacy policy.
